Celebrating Women in Music with Saint John String Quartet March 25, 27, 28.

Despite the postponement of the much-anticipated Serenades for You! Symphony New Brunswick is still able to produce the smaller wonderful concerts of the Virtuoso Series.

Prepare to be charmed as SJSQ celebrates women composers over the past 180 years. Featuring Fanny Mendelssohn’s Germanic string quartet in E flat major, American composer Amy Beach, an impressionistic French quartet by Germaine Tailleferre and a spoken quartet from Newfoundland composer Bekah Simms.

The entrance for the concert is on Queen Street. If you come to the church doors on Queen St, turn to your right and continue past the church building. There will be a paved path along the side of the church, leading to a set of glass doors.  Volunteers will be waiting to welcome you there.
