Symphony New Brunswick’s Season Opener a crowd-pleasing top-ten showcase.

Symphony New Brunswick is pleased to launch its 2022/23 Season with a full-orchestra three-city tour of Symphonic Chart Toppers – a lineup that is sure to please seasoned concert-goers and newbies alike.

"What better way to start our 2022/23 season than with the best that classical music has to offer," says Mélanie Léonard, Music Director of Symphony New Brunswick. "Who will make it to the number one spot on our ‘Chart Toppers’ billboard? Come join us to find out!"

For the first time since the pandemic began, Symphony New Brunswick is presenting the full orchestra in a chart-busting program that counts down ten of the most famous orchestral selections of all time, including works like Beethoven's 5th Symphony, Rossini's Barber of Seville, Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, and Strauss’ Radetzy March.

"We are absolutely thrilled to stage our first full orchestra concert in over two and a half years," says Reid Parker, president of Symphony New Brunswick. “How fitting to present this compilation of time-honoured masterpieces and give music lovers such a wonderful opportunity to join us back at the concert hall for live music that's sure to sparkle. Make no mistake—Symphonic Chart Toppers is for everybody!"

Symphonic Chart Toppers, conducted by Mélanie Léonard, will be held in Saint John on Monday, September 19th (7:30 pm at Imperial Theatre), Fredericton on Tuesday, September 20th (7:30 p.m. at The Playhouse), and Moncton on Wednesday, September 21st (7:30 pm at Capitol Theatre).

Tickets are available now and can be purchased at each of the three venues.
